Overview
You can join your session via the Modern Health web or mobile app, session reminder email, or calendar. To reschedule sessions through the app, please do so 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting a session credit. If a session is cancelled without your action, contact the provider or Care Team. Multiple sessions can be scheduled at a time, but ensure you and your provider have an agreement on a regular cadence.
Q: How do I join my session?
A: You can join your sessions from the following:
Via the web or mobile app (iOS / Android).
You can find this under the For You section on your Home Page, there is a section that says "Coaching/Therapy session with "[Your Provider's Name]". At the time of your session, please click Join Session and you will be redirected to Zoom.
Via your session reminder email.
Via your calendar.
If you are having trouble joining your session, please message your provider via the Messages feature in the web or mobile app. You can also reach out to us at help@modernhealth.com.
Q: How do I reschedule my session?
A: You can select the intended session on your home page under the For You section and then select the cancellation option. You can schedule a new time before or after you process the cancellation if you're planning to reschedule.
Note: If you need to cancel an appointment to reschedule, we encourage it to be cancelled 24 hours before the start of the session. Please keep in mind canceling a session less than 24 hours from the start will forfeit a session credit to protect our providers' time. Kindly note that some therapists may have a cancellation policy of 48 hours and will clarify this before scheduling your first session.
Q: My session was cancelled, but I didn't cancel it. What can I do?
A: You can inquire about the cancellation and reschedule a more convenient time and date via the Messages feature or your provider's email. If you are not receiving a response or the cancellation was a technical error, as a next step, please reach out to our Care Team via help@modernhealth.com and we can assist further.
Q: Can I schedule more than one session with my provider at a time?
A: The short answer is yes, you may schedule multiple sessions with your provider at a time. However, please ensure that you and your provider agree on a regular cadence that you both are aware of to avoid any scheduling discrepancies.
Note: If you schedule a session past your benefit reset date, it will deduct from your next benefit cycle’s allotment.
