Overview
Single sign-on (SSO) is a user authentication tool that enables users to securely access multiple applications and services using just one set of credentials. Suppose your company uses SSO to access Modern Health. In that case, you must enter your identical login credentials (username, password, etc.) according to what your IT team has on file.
Registering with SSO
You should have received a welcome email from us outlining your benefit plan coverage. The email also includes a unique link to register your account. Suppose you do not use the unique email link or the link expired. In that case, you can still register via the mobile app (iOS / Android) or the Modern Health web application.
Mobile Version
- Once on our homepage, select the option to Sign Up.
- On the following page, enter in your company email.
- Once entered, you will be redirected to your employer’s Okta/SSO page to complete the registration.
Web Version
- Once on our homepage, select the option to Sign Up.
- On the following page, enter in your company email.
- Once entered, you will be redirected to your employer’s Okta/SSO page to complete the registration.
Logging in with SSO
Mobile Version
- Once on our homepage, select the option to Log In.
- On the Welcome Back page, please enter your company email.
- Once entered, you will be redirected to your Okta/SSO login method.
- If your employer offers SSO + company email, you can select the option to Sign in with SSO.
- The option Continue to Modern Health should surface, along with a short message that states your "authentication successfully".
Web Version
- Once on the homepage, select the option to Log In.
- On the Welcome Back page, please enter your company email.
- Once entered, you will be redirected to your Okta/SSO login method.
- If your employer offers SSO + company email, you can select the option to Sign in with SSO.
- The option Continue to Modern Health should surface, along with a short message that states your "authentication successfully".
Troubleshooting
Suppose you decide to change your preferred email to your personal email or experience trouble using SSO to access the Modern Health app. In that case, you can access the Modern Health app alternatively by using the email and password login method. You can set this up by resetting your password using this link here. If you have trouble resetting your password and you're taken to the home screen, please log out of the Modern Health app and try resetting your password again. Lastly, we encourage you to check with your employer if a VPN is required to use SSO.
Once you reset your password, you can use your email and your newly created password to log into the Modern Health app. If you do not receive the password reset email, please reach out to help@joinmodernhealth.com, and our team can share a unique token with you.
