You can update your preferred email via our mobile app (iOS / Android) or the Modern Health web application. Please note that your preferred email is shared with providers on your Care Team and it may be used for communication outside of the app. For the mobile app, please follow these steps to update your preferred email:
- Select Settings on the bottom right side of the home screen.
- Tap Profile Details, then Account Details.
- Under Login & Contact Email, update your preferred email.
- Finally, tap Change Email to save your preferred email.
Suppose you do not use the mobile app. In that case, you can update your preferred email via the Modern Health web application and follow these steps:
- Select your name at the top right-hand corner, then click into Profile.
- Click Edit under the Email section to update your preferred email.
- Make sure your preferred email has been completely saved by pressing Save.
How can I troubleshoot if my email does not update or don’t see the option to update?
If you run into issues updating your preferred email, please restart your app and double-check that you have the latest version. We recommend having these steps completed (plus documenting screenshots of what you are seeing) before reaching out to firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure we have all the necessary information to help troubleshoot further.
