Overview
You can have Modern Health benefits through your employer and as a dependent via your partner/spouse's employer. However, only one active account is allowed. You can use sessions from either employer but must contact support if you are close to or have exhausted your session allotment to explore continued care options.
Utilizing Two Modern Health Accounts
A member can indeed have the Modern Health benefit via their employer as a primary beneficiary and be a dependent via their partner/spouse's employer. However, we only allow members to have one (1) active Modern Health account out of fairness for other members who might not be a dependent of someone who also has Modern Health as an employer benefit.
That being said, you can only use sessions allotted either by your direct employer, or your partner/spouse's employer. Also, if you are close to maxing out your session allotment or you have exhausted your session allotment, you can reach out to help@modernhealth.com to confirm if your employer offers continued care or what other care methods might be available to you.
