What is mental health coaching?
Mental health coaching uses evidence-based techniques and frameworks to help people with mild to moderate mental health challenges like stress, anxiety, and low motivation. In addition to Mental Health Coaches, Modern Health has coaches who focus more on career and professional needs, habits related to financial well-being, and more. All of our coaches are ICF-certified.
What do Modern Health’s Mental Health Coaches do?
We currently have over 200 Mental Health Coaches in our network who are ICF-certified, complete an additional intensive program of training in evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and conduct ongoing consultation with a coach and therapist. Our Mental Health Coaches are highly beneficial to our members for many reasons. MHCs generally focus on supporting our members on a wide range of mental health related issues such as stress, anxiety, lifestyle changes, relationships, etc. They work with members in a practical way on day-to-day mental health challenges that affect members’ personal lives and relationships.
Why might you want a Mental Health Coach?
If you are hesitant about therapy but still want immediate care, then Mental Health Coaches could be perfect for you. They are trained to help you navigate difficult situations, explore healthier behaviors, cope with challenging emotions, and reach your well-being goals.
