Overview
You may schedule, reschedule, and cancel sessions using the Modern Health website or app. If your dependent's provider schedules sessions outside of the app, please reach out to their provider via the Messaging feature or email. If a session is canceled without notice, please reach out to your dependent's provider or our Care Team for more information.
Instructions
You can review your dependent’s session history with all of their past and current providers by logging into your Modern Health web app or mobile app (iOS / Android) and following these steps.
Web App:
- From the home screen, under Your 1:1 Care, click View family (next to Manage care for your family).
- In the Upcoming Sessions section, it will display your dependent’s upcoming sessions (up to 3) in order of occurrence.
Mobile App:
- From the home screen, please scroll down to Your 1:1 Care and tap Manage care for your family.
- In the Upcoming Sessions section, it will display your dependent’s upcoming sessions (up to 3) in order of occurrence.
Please note that if your dependent’s provider handles scheduling outside of the Modern Health platform, their scheduled sessions may not appear in the app. If this is the case, please communicate directly with your dependent’s provider to confirm their session details. You can also contact our Privacy Team at privacy@modernhealth.com to request a more formal record of your dependent’s sessions from Modern Health.
Canceling Sessions
Appointments can only be created or canceled by you or your dependent’s provider, we kindly ask you to select the intended session on your home page and then select the cancellation option.
Please select the arrow (>) next to your dependent’s upcoming session. A pop-up will appear and you will have the option to Cancel Session.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an appointment to reschedule, we encourage it to be done 24 hours before the start of the session. You can schedule a new time before or after you process the cancellation. Please note that some therapists may have a cancellation policy of 48 hours and will clarify this before scheduling your first session.
Canceling a session less than 24 or 48 hours from the start of the session will forfeit a session credit to protect our providers' time.
