Overview
Resilient Leadership Pathways are a structured care program inside Modern Health designed for current and emerging leaders. Each Pathway pairs you with a dedicated Pathway Specialist for four focused sessions, helping you build leadership skills -- confidence, empathy, resilience -- in a way that also supports your well-being. If your company has elected to offer Resilient Leadership Pathways, you can get started in the iOS app or Android app.

What are Resilient Leadership Pathways?
Leading a team is one of the most rewarding things you can do at work. It's also one of the most challenging, especially when change is constant, expectations are high, and no one handed you a playbook.
Resilient Leadership Pathways are part of Modern Health Pathways, a structured care offering that combines 1:1 sessions with a dedicated Pathway Specialist, curated digital exercises and topic-specific assessments. Each Pathway is four sessions with the same specialist, focused on one leadership goal.
Sessions are separate from your existing coaching or therapy sessions and do not count against your regular benefit allocation.

Who are Resilient Leadership Pathways for?
Resilient Leadership Pathways are for anyone who:
- Is managing a team today and wants to lead with more confidence, empathy and resilience
- Is building toward a leadership role and wants to develop practical skills now
- Is navigating a period of change, pressure or high-stakes conversations at work
- Wants structured, one-on-one support that fits into a busy schedule
How to Get Started
You can begin a Resilient Leadership Pathway through the Modern Health web or mobile app.

What You'll Work On
There are five Resilient Leadership Pathways to choose from:
- Developing Your Leadership Style -- Clarify how you lead best, identify your strengths, and build practical habits you can apply with your team right away. A strong starting point for most leaders.
- Having a Confident Presence -- Build skills to show up with confidence in high-stakes situations, manage nerves, communicate clearly under pressure, and hold your ground in difficult conversations
- Leading with Empathy -- Build psychological safety with your team, turn everyday check-ins into real connections, and develop the skills to support people through stress and uncertainty
- Motivating Your Team -- Understand what actually drives the people around you, and learn how to use recognition, clarity and autonomy to bring out their best work
- Embracing Change -- Build steadiness and confidence when navigating uncertainty, and develop tools to help your team move forward through periods of change
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Resilient Leadership Pathways use my coaching or therapy sessions? No. Sessions completed as part of a Pathway are separate from your employer-covered coaching or therapy sessions. They will not reduce your existing benefit allocation.
How long does it take to complete a Pathway? Each Pathway is four sessions. Most members complete a Pathway over four to eight weeks, depending on the schedule they set with their Pathway Specialist.
Can I work on more than one Pathway at a time? Yes. You can enroll in more than one Pathway at the same time. The number of Pathways available to you depends on the plan your company has selected.
Can I change my Pathway Specialist? Yes, before you begin your first session. If you have already started, you will need to end the current Pathway before starting again with a different provider.
Can I continue working with my Pathway Specialist after I finish? Yes. Once you complete a Pathway, your Pathway Specialist will be added to your Care Team so you can continue working with them through your regular coaching sessions.
Who are the Pathway Specialists? Pathway Specialists are Modern Health providers with advanced certifications and verified expertise in professional well-being, leadership and burnout. They hold ICF certifications at the MCC or PCC level and carry Fellow status within the Modern Health provider network.
