Once you match with a provider, you can communicate with them via the Messaging feature (formerly known as "Chat"), available in the iOS and Android mobile app and web app. The Messaging feature is a valuable tool for scheduling, initial questions, and providing quick updates. Your provider may also use the Messaging feature to share supplemental materials or inform you of upcoming session changes.
While the Messaging feature offers convenience, we strongly recommend one-on-one sessions as your primary method of receiving care. Lastly, when you send a message to your provider, you can expect a response within 24 business hours. If you don't get a response within this window, please send us a note at email@example.com so we can investigate further and share your feedback with the appropriate teams.
To access the Messaging feature in the mobile app, please follow these steps:
- Log into the Modern Health app.
- From the bottom center of the home screen, tap on the Messages icon (see screenshot below).
To access the Messaging feature in the web app, please follow these steps:
- Log into the Modern Health app via your preferred internet browser.
- From the top right of the home screen, click on the Messages icon (see screenshot below).
