Modern Health Care Partners

Overview

At Modern Health, our mission is to connect members with the right care at the right time. We recognize that navigating high-acuity mental health needs, especially when seeking intensive or specialized treatment, can be overwhelming. To ensure members have access to effective, evidence-based care, we’ve partnered with Charlie Health and Equip, two leading organizations with strong clinical outcomes in intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and eating disorder treatment, respectively.

Charlie Health

Charlie Health, a trusted clinical partner of Modern Health, offers virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services for individuals aged 8 to 64 experiencing serious mental health challenges, and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for individuals aged 16 and older. Designed for those who need more support than weekly therapy but don’t require inpatient care, their program includes three group therapy sessions per week, along with weekly individual and family therapy, and access to psychiatric services as needed. Services are available in most U.S. states and are covered by many major insurance providers.

Equip

Equip Health, a third-party clinical partner with Modern Health, provides virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment for individuals of all ages. Their comprehensive care model includes a multidisciplinary team, comprising a therapist, dietitian, medical provider, peer mentor, and family mentor, that collaborates to deliver personalized support throughout the recovery journey. Equip's services are available nationwide and are in-network with many major insurance providers.
