Overview
You may continue sessions with your provider through private pay. If you choose to continue care with transitioning to private pay, pricing is at your provider's discretion. You may also contact your health insurance for other care options. Providers may refer you to an alternative provider who accepts your insurance.
Continuing with Private Pay
If you choose to continue care with your provider(s) transitioning to private pay, here are a few things to consider:
- By switching to paying out of pocket, overall pricing for continued care is at your provider's discretion. While we encourage our providers to offer great pricing for Modern Health members, overall pricing is at their discretion.
- You will need to retrieve your provider(s) contact information to plan your next steps as a client outside your employer's benefit plan. Depending on your communication preferences with your Care Team, you can reach out via the Messages feature or email your provider(s) directly to request this information. You're also welcome to contact our Member Support Team at help@modernhealth.com, and we'll be happy to help retrieve it for you.
- Your provider may refer you to an alternative provider who takes your health insurance. Also, we encourage you to contact your health insurance to see what other care options are available to you.
