While there are multiple ways you can join your session with your provider, we suggest joining from your Modern Health account following the below steps:

Via the web or mobile app (iOS / Android).
- Under the For You section on your Home Page, there is a section that says "Coaching/Therapy session with "[Your Provider's Name]". At the time of your session, please click Join Session and you will be redirected to Zoom.
- Via your session reminder email.
- Via your calendar.
If you have trouble joining a session or your provider doesn't join the call, it's best practice to reach out to your provider as soon as possible. This can be done via the Messages feature or email. Please kindly note that we have asked providers to offer 10-minute grace periods for members, and we ask that members offer 10-minute grace periods for their providers before exiting the session.
Also, we have detailed some troubleshooting steps for Zoom below:
- Ensure you are logged in to your Zoom account.
- Ensure your Zoom app is up to date.
- Ensure your Modern Health app is up to date (iOS or Android).
- Exit and rejoin your session via the web, mobile app, or the copied session link from your provider.
- Message your provider via the Messages feature to request a Zoom link.
Your provider will best help with the next steps. Additionally, please kindly note that some providers may also handle scheduling outside of the Modern Health platform and may not appear under your Care Team in the app. Although you will not see them or upcoming sessions in the app, we have instructed providers to invoice Modern Health for the sessions. You can continue to work directly with your provider via email to schedule sessions and obtain the link for any upcoming sessions.
